Good Track Terms and Conditions

Effective October 4, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Nicholas Bridle ("Good Track", "we", "us") for using the Good Track app on iPhone and Mac, our website goodtrack.golf, and our related services (together, "Good Track"). By using Good Track, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Good Track.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and is part of these terms.

1. Who can use Good Track

You must be at least 16 years old to use Good Track. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission, and they agree to these terms for you.

2. Your account

Accounts use Sign in with Apple. You're responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your Apple Account secure, and tell us at support@goodtrack.golf if you think someone else is using it. Choose a username that isn't misleading, offensive, or someone else's name or brand. We may reclaim a username that breaks these terms.

You can delete your account at any time in Settings ‚Üí Account ‚Üí Delete Account.

3. Your content

"Your content" is what you put into Good Track: rounds, scores, notes, ratings, reviews, prices, photos, profile details, lists and comments.

  • You own your content. We don't claim ownership of it.
  • You give us permission to use it to run Good Track. That means storing it, backing it up, and showing it to the people your settings allow. Ratings, reviews and prices also feed course scores and typical prices, which use many golfers' contributions together. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other golfers already received, such as a share card you sent them, and aggregate course figures that no longer identify you.
  • You're responsible for your content. Only post what you have the right to post. Don't post other people's private information, and don't post photos you didn't take unless you have permission.

4. Reviews and ratings

Good Track is only as useful as its honesty. Reviews and ratings must be about your own experience at the course. Don't:

  • post fake reviews or rate a course you haven't played
  • review a course you own, work for, or are paid by, or are competing with
  • offer or accept anything in exchange for a review
  • post anything hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or illegal

Good Track can write review drafts for you with Apple Intelligence or, with Pro, a cloud writing engine you choose. Drafts are suggestions. AI can get things wrong, so read and edit each draft before you post it. What you post is yours and your responsibility. Good Track never posts anything for you.

5. Being a good playing partner

Treat other golfers with respect. Don't harass, impersonate, spam or threaten anyone. Don't add people to rounds in a way meant to embarrass or mislead. You can block anyone, and you can report content that breaks these terms. We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or end accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.

6. Good Track Pro

Good Track Pro is a one-time purchase through Apple's App Store. It unlocks Pro features for as long as we offer them, on any device signed in to the same Apple Account. Restore Purchase brings it back on a new device.

  • Payment, refunds and family sharing are handled by Apple under Apple's terms. To ask for a refund, contact Apple.
  • Cloud writing is included with Pro up to a monthly allowance, which we may change.
  • We may add, change or retire individual Pro features over time. If we stop offering Pro altogether, we'll give notice in the app.

7. Course information, weather and tee times

Course details come from OpenStreetMap contributors via OpenGolfAPI, under the Open Database License, along with what golfers report. Weather comes from Apple Weather. Typical prices and Good Track scores come from golfers' reports. All of it is for information only and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Always check with the course before you go, and check the weather and conditions yourself.

Good Track doesn't book tee times. When you forward a confirmation email, Good Track reads it to fill in your round, and you check the details before saving. Your booking is between you and the course or booking service.

8. Things you can't do

Don't:

  • copy, scrape or collect data from Good Track by automated means
  • reverse engineer Good Track or try to get around its security, limits or Pro checks
  • interfere with Good Track or other people's use of it
  • use Good Track to break the law or anyone's rights
  • use Good Track to send spam or unwanted messages

9. Our rights

Good Track's app, design, name, logo and software belong to us, apart from the content you and other golfers own and the course data provided under its own license. These terms don't give you any rights to our name or logo.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.

10. Changes and availability

We're improving Good Track all the time, so features may change, and some may be added or removed. We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Good Track after that, you accept the new terms.

We may suspend or stop Good Track, or your access to it, but we'll try to give you notice and a chance to keep a copy of your content where we reasonably can.

11. Disclaimers

Good Track is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we don't promise that Good Track will be uninterrupted, error-free or always accurate, and we disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

12. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Good Track and the people behind it aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of Good Track. Our total liability for any claim about Good Track is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50.

Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

13. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Hampshire, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, please contact us at support@goodtrack.golf so we can try to sort it out.

14. Apple

You're getting Good Track through Apple's App Store, so:

  • These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Good Track or its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Good Track.
  • If Good Track fails to meet any warranty that applies, you may tell Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any). Apart from that, Apple has no warranty obligation for Good Track.
  • Apple isn't responsible for claims about Good Track, including product liability, legal or regulatory claims, or consumer protection claims.
  • If someone claims that Good Track infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, are responsible for dealing with that claim.
  • You confirm that you're not in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo, and you're not on a U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • You must also follow any third-party terms that apply when you use Good Track, such as your carrier's terms.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and can enforce them against you.

15. The rest

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce something right away, we haven't given up the right to. You can't transfer these terms to someone else; we may transfer them as part of a sale or merger of Good Track. These terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about Good Track.
